THE CATALYST
Things were very unorganized. Our systems were living in our heads. Everyone knew what they were meant to do, but it was getting more and more challenging to train new people and nearly impossible to see the big picture.
My hope was simply to get our processes out of our heads and into an easy-to-follow training manual, preferably online, so that they became replicable and we could relax.
THE EXPERIENCE
After a couple of minutes with Tamara, I knew I’d made the right decision. Slowly, I began to realize two things.
First, it was an advantage to have someone outside my industry look at my business. They could see the big picture where I couldn’t.
Second, I hadn’t realized that thinking about our processes would also make it possible to see where the business could go.
THE BREAKTHROUGH
Where we were before we started working with Process Mavens and where we are now is like night and day.
The easy way to measure it is that we’ve achieved 40% year-over-year growth. We can bring on new employees with confidence. We know that they can quickly contribute to the team.
As important, though, our team knows how to work together to solve problems. We used to spend our time firefighting. Now, we’re working as a team to keep growing and improving.
