During our “First Step to Freedom” one-week program, we’ll build and help you implement a system to track your business’s most important 90-day goals or “OKRs.” By the end of 7 days, you’ll have completed your first essential step to freedom: A clear plan and scorecard for accomplishing your most critical business results and a team that’s ready to start doing the work.

Your team will be ready to start executing like champions and you’ll be ready to hold them accountable!

Who it’s for: CEOs of professional service businesses with 3-30 employees who know goals and accountability are essential, but need a system for managing their team to those outcomes in a simple and transparent way. (We also offer additional services for CEOs who would like weekly support for making sure their team keeps their scorecard up-to-date!).

We’re looking to partner with leaders who are deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of their business, but dream of someday delegating it all. They are serious about their business, but don’t take themselves too seriously and care a whole lot about their employees.

Since we’ll be implementing this system in one of our preferred project management software tools (see “What you’ll need” section below), we’ll be the best fit for those who either already use one of these 2 tools, or haven’t yet selected a project/process management software.

What you’ll need: A subscription to Monday.com or Smartsheet.com (we can help you choose), Zoom access, a working webcam & microphone, a rough idea of some 90-day goals you’d like to accomplish, & 1-2 hours a day for a week to dedicate to the project.

1. Clarify roles & responsibilities.

The first step in reaching your goals is to get clear on what each person in your organization is accountable for. We’ll create a detailed accountability chart, process maps for each of your main services and a responsibility matrix that breaks down every responsibility in your organization and who is responsible.

2. Define Your 90-day goals

Now that you know who owns what, we’ll help you craft your organization’s quarterly objectives and team-level objectives. These will be the targets you’ll be shooting for for the next 90 days.

3. customize your goal Scorecard & dashboard

Armed with clarity about what you want to accomplish and who is accountable for each part of the puzzle, we’ll create a customized scorecard for your team and an executive dashboard for you to track progress along the way, so you’ll always know where things stand.

4. Train Your Team

Now that you have a solid plan for executing on your most important business goals and a scorecard for staying on top of everything, it’s time to roll this information out to your team. We’ll lead a virtual training on everything your team needs to know to use their scorecard and keep their statuses up-to-date from week-to-week.
